Great reports, Rivera! They were clearly a lot of work on your part. Thank you for enlightening us about what is going on in our world, about those issues that need our love, compassion, and wisdom.
Rivera,
You say to see your Knowledge Section for further info. But I cannot find your Knowledge Section.
Where is it located please?
Steve,
Scroll down on the issue of Nonviolence News that you were looking at. The Knowledge Section is part of that post. Hope that helps, Rivera
Great website, thank you!
But I don’t see how to access previous posts, just the one page.
Is there a way to see last months, or last weeks postings?
Thanks!!
Hi BB,
If you look on the homepage, all our previous posts can be found just below the banner image. I hope that helps. We are relatively new – we started in May 2019. A few of our older round-ups have not been migrated (yet) to Nonviolence News.org from my own website, but I’m working on it. Everything from July onward is here.
Best,
Rivera Sun
Hello Rivera. Love your movement. The situation in Australia is hardly known in the northern hemisphere. And the Australian government denies climate damage, promotes coal, and has just told Tuvalu at the Pacific Forum that it does not care about their islands going under water with sea level rise.
We have some non violent movements here such as Extinction Rebellion, Stop Adani, Grey Power Climate Protectors.
Can you please include them in your news page? Australia is about the worst polluter in the world. The world should know this, and that some are active in trying to change this.
Thanks and best wishes, Dan Burt, Aldgate, South Australia.
Hi Dan,
Wonderful to hear from you. We have been sharing reports from Extinction Rebellion, including XR Australia, and we loved the story about how 1400 paintings of birds were sent to officials decrying the threat the Adani mine poses to the species. I had not heard of Grey Power Climate Protectors yet, but I will look them up.
I do enjoy finding news from down under. Besides the stories mentioned, there have been several others (one about Sydney city workers going on strike until Round-up was banned!).
Best,
Rivera Sun
